Rage attack.

I loathe it when people I know who are in relationships or currently married try to cheer me up about being single. I often get responses like, "don't worry...you will find someone" or "there's someone out there for you".
Please...spare me your empty premonitions. You cant guarantee that I will find someone or that there is someone out there for me. You cannot assure me that.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm going to die a lonely woman.
Here's a thought: how about you offer me your help?....you seem to be happily in love...show me how you did it!
Better yet...do you know a friend of a friend of a friend?
No you don't.
Because you are selfish and you want to rub it in my face.
Good day sir or ma'am.

a bit harsh I think - maybe not, they may well be selfish, but they may just be trying to cheer you up.
maybe they don't know this friend of a friend, not everyone is that popular or confident enough to introduce you to whoever....
playing devils advocate is too easy!

Whats harsh is that no one gets it. I dont want to be cheered up. I need help!
devils advocate? hardly. I would never try to console someone in my position by rubbing my great relationship in their face and neither would I make empty premonitions about their future because I cant guarantee that for them. I dont expect you to know what my experiences are. If u read about them, great! But please dont assume that everythings sunshine and rainbows and that everyone just wants the best for me. If that were the case I wouldnt have ranted about this :)

Unfortunately, that website is dated. A majority of the profiles are from 2002-2004 so I'm pretty sure these dream singhs are either already married or dead. Thanks for the help though.

that website isn't dated. Have seen regular updates in the Gursikh women section.

You should try the "Browse option" [Date - Newest First]
